Right after the UFC Q&A Session, the event continues into photos / autographs with Joe Rogan, Carlos Condit, and Pat Barry — who happened to have stopped by. The energy was great and they were all super nice to stay with us MMA fans until the UFC Fight Night 24 Weigh-Ins started shortly afterwards — like clockwork.
The beauty of the UFC Weigh-Ins is they’re always on time and run quite smoothly. It’s great to see how the fighters look before the fight in order to get a sense of who’s prepared and who’s not. February was a short month, and it was dominated by the stellar performance of Anderson “The Spider” Silva. It was literally an “In yo’ face” type of kick to retain his title and to continue with the longest UFC winning streak/title defenses. Along with the high Anderson felt, it was totally opposite for another legend in Fedor Emelianenko. His second straight loss was quite decisive and you saw it on his face.
